Claritek 125 mg/5 mL

Indication

Treatment of infections caused by susceptible organisms, including selected respiratory and skin infections.

Ingredients

• Clarithromycin 125 mg per 5 mL after reconstitution

Direction

Use only as prescribed by a registered medical practitioner. To prepare, fill drinking water to the bottle mark and shake well. Shake before each dose. Use the reconstituted suspension for up to 14 days under the specified storage conditions.

Side effects

• Commonly reported effects include nausea
• dyspepsia
• abdominal pain
• vomiting and diarrhea. Headache
• taste changes
• rash and transient liver
• enzyme elevations have also been reported.

Precautions

• Do not use if there is known hypersensitivity to macrolide antibiotics. Use under medical supervision
• particularly with renal or hepatic impairment or possible drug interactions.
