Indication

Maintenance treatment of asthma in patients for whom combination inhaled corticosteroid and long-acting beta2-agonist therapy is appropriate.

Ingredients

• Budesonide 200 mcg per actuation
• Formoterol fumarate dihydrate 6 mcg per actuation

Direction

Use by oral inhalation exactly as prescribed. Rinse the mouth with water after each dose and do not use for sudden breathing attacks unless specifically directed by the prescriber.

Side effects

• Headache
• tremor
• palpitations
• throat irritation
• hoarseness
• cough
• or oral fungal infection may occur.

Precautions

• Not for relief of acute bronchospasm. Do not stop or change treatment without medical advice. Rinse the mouth after inhalation to reduce oral thrush risk.
• Seek medical advice if asthma control worsens or rescue medicine is needed more often.
