Indication

Relief of cough and sputum.

Ingredients

• Dihydrocodeine bitartrate 5 mg
• Guaifenesin 50 mg

• Chlorpheniramine maleate 1.5 mg

Direction

The package states: adults, take 2 tablets by mouth three times daily; children aged 8–11, 1 tablet three times daily; children aged 11–15, 1–2 tablets three times daily. Current Korean product information for Daewon’s same four-ingredient tablet says not to use in children under 12 because of respiratory depression risk. Do not follow the conflicting under-12 package directions; confirm locally approved instructions with a pharmacist or regulator.
