Nutrigén Bonidenti Vitamin D3 + Fluoride

Indication

Nutrigén Bonidenti is used for prevention of vitamin D deficiency and dental caries in infants and young children. Fluoride supplementation helps in the mineralisation and protection of developing teeth.

Ingredients

• Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 300 IU
• Fluoride (as sodium fluoride) 0.25 mg per dose

Direction

Children: typically 1 dose daily as recommended by the physician. Dose varies by age and fluoride content in local water supply; follow the prescribing physician's instructions.

Side effects

• Dental fluorosis (white spots or mottling of teeth) with excessive fluoride intake.
• Nausea or vomiting at high doses.

Precautions

• Do not use in areas where the water supply already contains adequate fluoride (≥0.6 ppm) without physician advice.
• Avoid exceeding recommended dose — excessive fluoride may cause dental fluorosis.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Not recommended for children under 6 months without medical advice.
