Indication

For symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain and fever in children weighing 3–32 kg (approximately birth to 12 years).

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 30 mg/mL

Direction

Use the supplied weight-graded dosing device and follow the child’s weight-based dose in the package leaflet or a healthcare professional’s directions. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary time. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose or combine with other paracetamol-containing medicines.

Side effects

• skin redness
• rash
• hives
• or purpura may occur. Very rarely
• severe allergic reactions
• facial or neck swelling
• breathing difficulty
• diarrhea
• abdominal pain
• abnormal liver tests
• or other serious reactions may occur. Stop treatment and seek medical advice for a serious reaction.

Precautions

• Do not use in case of allergy to paracetamol or another ingredient
• or severe liver disease. Ask a healthcare professional before use in children with liver or kidney disease
• dehydration
• malnutrition
• or other significant health conditions. Check other medicines to avoid exceeding the daily paracetamol dose. Seek medical advice if fever lasts over 3 days or pain over 5 days.
