Pediasolvent Bromhexine hydrochloride 1.6 mg/mL

Indication

Thins and loosens mucus in the chest and helps clear chest congestion; the package describes use for cough with mucus and chesty cough.

Ingredients

• Bromhexine hydrochloride 1.6 mg per mL

Direction

Use an oral measuring syringe only. Give 3 times a day according to the package age table: ages 1–5 years, 1.25 mL per dose; ages 6–12 years, 2.5 mL per dose; over 12 years and adults, 5–10 mL per dose. Do not exceed 0.75 mg/kg per day without consulting a doctor.
