Indication

BonaVidea Kids Vitamin D3 Drops are used for prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency in infants and young children. Vitamin D3 supports calcium absorption, bone mineralisation, and immune function.

Ingredients

• Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) — exact IU per drop not verifiable without specific product label

Direction

Infants and children: typically 1–2 drops daily, or as directed by a physician. Administer directly into the mouth or mix with food/formula.

Side effects

• Hypercalcaemia with prolonged overdose (loss of appetite
• vomiting
• weakness
• increased thirst).
• Generally well tolerated at recommended doses.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Do not use in patients with hypercalcaemia or hypervitaminosis D.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Consult physician before use in premature infants.
