Candid-V3 Clotrimazole USP 200 mg vaginal tablet

Indication

For treatment of vaginal thrush (vaginal candidiasis). Use this product only after a doctor has diagnosed vaginal thrush.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole USP 200 mg

Direction

For non-pregnant adults, insert one vaginal tablet once daily, preferably at bedtime, for three consecutive days. Use the applicator to insert the tablet as deeply as possible. Ask a doctor or pharmacist for advice if pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

Side effects

• Vaginal irritation or sensitivity may occur. Stop treatment and consult a doctor if irritation or sensitivity occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to clotrimazole or any ingredient. Ask a doctor or pharmacist if this is the first episode
• the diagnosis is uncertain
• or you are pregnant
• planning pregnancy
• or breastfeeding. Do not swallow the tablet. Avoid tampons
• vaginal douches
• spermicides
• and other vaginal products during treatment
• avoid vaginal intercourse while symptoms are present or during treatment. Do not use during menstruation
• complete treatment before menstruation begins. This product may reduce the effectiveness of latex condoms or diaphragms.
