Ellgy Salicylic acid 17% w/v topical solution

Indication

Treatment of corns, warts, and calluses.

Ingredients

• Salicylic acid 17% w/v

Direction

Soak the affected corn, wart, or callus in warm water for 5 minutes, dry it, and gently rub the surface with a pumice stone or emery board. Apply a thin film directly to the affected area with the bottle applicator twice daily, let it dry, and cover with a plaster. Continue until cleared; usual treatment may take 6 to 12 weeks. Avoid surrounding normal skin.

Side effects

• Salicylic acid preparations may cause dermatitis. Stop use if irritation develops
• seek medical advice if it worsens or does not improve within 48 hours.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to salicylic acid or any ingredient. People with diabetes or impaired circulation should use only under a doctor's supervision. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes

• or unusual skin growths. This solution is highly flammable.
