Doliprane 300 mg

Indication

For symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever, including headache, flu-like symptoms, toothache and muscle aches. This 300 mg presentation is reserved for children weighing 16–48 kg (approximately 4–15 years); dosing is based on the child's weight.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 300 mg per sachet

Direction

Oral use. Shake the sachet, pour its contents into a glass, add a small amount of a drink such as water, milk or fruit juice, stir, and give immediately. Follow the package leaflet or a healthcare professional's directions for the child's weight and dose interval. Do not exceed the recommended daily amount or treatment duration.

Side effects

• Rarely
• allergic reactions such as rash
• redness
• hives
• facial or throat swelling
• or anaphylactic reaction may occur.
• Very rarely
• serious skin reactions or blood
• cell disorders have been reported. Liver
• function problems and other uncommon reactions are also possible. Stop the medicine and seek medical advice for a suspected reaction.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to paracetamol or any ingredient
• or in a child with severe liver disease. Do not give another medicine containing paracetamol
• overdose can cause severe liver damage.
• The dose depends on the child's weight. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child has liver or severe kidney disease
• dehydration
• malnutrition
• or other significant illness. Seek medical advice if pain lasts over 5 days or fever over 3 days
• worsens
• or new symptoms appear.
