Indication

Prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency, as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

Ingredients

• Cholecalciferol 200
• 000 IU per 1 ml ampoule

Direction

Use only as prescribed by a healthcare professional. The 1 ml ampoule is intended for intramuscular use and may also be taken orally; do not self-administer an injection.

• hypersensitivity
• high blood calcium
• high urine calcium
• or calcium kidney stones may occur
• especially with overdose.

Precautions

• Use only on prescription and follow the prescribed dose
• this is a high
• strength vitamin D product. Do not use if allergic to vitamin D or its ingredients
• or with high blood/urine calcium
• calcium kidney stones
• excess vitamin D
• or nephrocalcinosis. Avoid excess vitamin D from other products
• monitoring may be needed with repeated high doses or high calcium intake. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding because of the high dose. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
