Prospan 0.7 g/100 ml dried ivy leaf extract

Indication

Herbal expectorant used to relieve cough with phlegm and symptoms of acute airway inflammation or chronic inflammatory bronchial disorders.

Ingredients

• Dried ivy leaf extract 0.7 g per 100 ml (drug
• extract ratio 5–7.5:1)

Direction

Shake well and take orally using the measuring cup. Follow the package directions unless otherwise prescribed: ages 1–5 years, 2.5 ml three times daily; ages 6–17 years, 5 ml three times daily; adults, 7.5 ml three times daily. For children under 1 year, consult a doctor. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen, or if fever or breathing difficulty occurs.

Side effects

• or laxative effect may occur.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to ivy extract or any ingredient. Consult a doctor before use in children under 1 year

• consult a clinician because the syrup contains sorbitol. Seek medical advice for persistent or worsening symptoms
