Ramol Paracetamol 250 mg per 5 mL

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 250 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Shake before use. The package dosing instructions are for children weighing 13–50 kg: 13–20 kg (about 2–7 years), 1 teaspoon per dose, repeat if needed after 6 hours, maximum 4 teaspoons per day; 21–25 kg (about 6–10 years), 1 teaspoon per dose, repeat after 4 hours, maximum 6 teaspoons per day; 26–40 kg (about 8–13 years), 2 teaspoons per dose, repeat after 6 hours, maximum 8 teaspoons per day; 41–50 kg (about 12–15 years), 2 teaspoons per dose, repeat after 4 hours, maximum 12 teaspoons per day. Do not exceed 3 g of paracetamol per day. Oral use only. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.

Side effects

• Rare hypersensitivity reactions have been reported
• including anaphylactic shock
• Quincke’s edema (angioedema)
• erythema
• urticaria
• and skin rash. Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if a reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any other component
• or in severe hepatic impairment. For oral use only. If in doubt
• consult a doctor or pharmacist. Inform a doctor or pharmacist about other medicines being taken. Do not exceed 3 g paracetamol per day.
