Calcibronat 2 g (calcium bromogalactogluconate), effervescent tablet

Indication

Adjunctive treatment for mild sleep disorders, irritability, and nervousness.

Ingredients

• Calcium bromogalactogluconate 2 g per effervescent tablet (equivalent to 150.7 mg calcium and 301 mg bromine)

Direction

Dissolve the tablet in half a glass of water. Adults: 1–2 effervescent tablets daily. Children weighing more than 30 kg: 1 tablet daily. Do not exceed 3 weeks of treatment; leave 3–4 weeks between courses.

Side effects

• Daytime drowsiness
• irritability
• disorientation
• confusion
• hallucinations
• loss of appetite
• or constipation may occur. Very rarely
• skin redness or itching has been reported
• especially with prolonged treatment.

Precautions

• For adults and children weighing more than 30 kg only. Do not use in pregnancy unless advised by a doctor. Do not use in breastfeeding without medical advice. Avoid alcohol. Contains sodium and sucrose
• consider this for low
• sodium diets or diabetes. Stop treatment and seek medical advice if skin reactions or neuropsychological symptoms occur. May cause drowsiness
• avoid driving or operating machinery.
