Indication

Short-term symptomatic treatment of troublesome dry, nonproductive cough in adults.

Ingredients

• Codeine 10 mg
• Ethylmorphine hydrochloride 10 mg

Direction

For oral use in adults only. Follow the prescription. The usual adult dose is 1 tablet, repeated after at least 6 hours if needed, up to 4 doses per day. Use for only a few days. Do not combine with other central cough suppressants; consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist.

Precautions

• or known rapid CYP2D6 metabolism. Avoid alcohol and use with sedatives only under medical supervision because breathing may slow dangerously. May cause drowsiness
