Nasal Spray Oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.05% (5 mg/15 mL)

Indication

Temporarily relieves nasal congestion associated with the common cold, hay fever, or upper respiratory allergies.

Ingredients

• Oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.05% (5 mg/15 mL)

Direction

For nasal use only. Shake well and use as directed on the package. Adults and children 6 to under 12 years: use 2 or 3 sprays in each nostril no more often than every 10 to 12 hours, with adult supervision. Do not exceed 2 doses in 24 hours. Children under 6 years should ask a doctor. Do not use for more than 3 days unless directed by a clinician.

• or increased nasal discharge may occur.

Precautions

• Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease
• high blood pressure
• thyroid disease
• diabetes
• or difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose or use for more than 3 days
• frequent or prolonged use may cause congestion to recur or worsen. Do not share the spray container.
