Indication

Ciprofloxacin is an antibacterial medicine used for susceptible bacterial infections. This package identifies the product as eye and ear drops; use only for an infection and route diagnosed by a healthcare professional.

Ingredients

• Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride equivalent to ciprofloxacin 15 mg per 5 mL
• Phenylmercuric acetate 0.1 mg per 5 mL (preservative)

Direction

The package says to instill 1 or 2 drops into the affected eye(s) 3–6 times daily for 6–14 days, or as directed by a physician. It identifies the product for eye/ear use; follow a physician's specific instructions for ear use. Use within 3 weeks after opening.

Precautions
