Indication
Treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms. Doxycycline is also used for selected infections and conditions as directed by a clinician.
Ingredients
- Doxycycline 100 mg (as doxycycline hyclate)
Direction
Take only as directed by a doctor and follow the package leaflet.
Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhoea
- or sensitivity to sunlight may occur. Consult a doctor or pharmacist for troublesome effects or an allergic reaction.
Precautions
- Take with a full glass of water and remain upright after taking. Do not use during pregnancy or in children younger than 8 years unless directed by a doctor. Separate from antacids
- iron
- calcium
- and magnesium products as advised by a pharmacist.
