DOMPEL 10 mg

Indication

Symptomatic relief of nausea and vomiting. Treatment of bloating, abdominal distension, and regurgitation.

Ingredients

• Domperidone 10 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents ≥12 years (≥35 kg): 10 mg up to three times daily, taken before meals. Maximum 30 mg per day. Use lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.

Side effects

• Dry mouth.
• Headache.
• Galactorrhoea or gynaecomastia (rare).
• QT prolongation (rare).
• Extrapyramidal reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Contraindicated with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g. ketoconazole
• erythromycin
• fluconazole).
• Risk of cardiac QT prolongation — avoid in patients with pre
• existing cardiac conditions.
• Contraindicated in prolactin
• releasing pituitary tumour and hepatic impairment.
• Use with caution in renal impairment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
