Oracortia 0.1%

Indication

Adjunctive treatment to provide temporary relief of symptoms associated with oral inflammatory or ulcerative lesions resulting from trauma (acute and chronic oral lesions).

Ingredients

• Triamcinolone acetonide 1.0 mg per gram (0.1%)

Direction

Apply a small amount of the paste to the lesion without rubbing until a thin film develops. Apply at bedtime so the steroid stays in contact with the lesion overnight.

Side effects

• Local irritation or burning at the application site
• Prolonged use may cause local thinning of the mucosa or fungal infection

Precautions

• For external / topical oral use only – do not swallow
• Do not use on infected (bacterial
• viral or fungal) oral lesions unless directed by a doctor
• Corticosteroid – use only as directed
