Daflon 1000 mg

Indication

Treatment of symptoms of chronic venous disease of the legs (heavy legs, pain, swelling) and of acute haemorrhoidal attacks.

Ingredients

• Micronized purified flavonoid fraction 1000 mg: diosmin 90% (900 mg)
• flavonoids expressed as hesperidin 10% (100 mg)

Direction

As directed by the physician or pharmacist. The usual dose for chronic venous disease is 1 tablet daily, taken with a meal.

Side effects

• Digestive disorders: diarrhoea
• indigestion
• nausea
• vomiting
• Occasionally dizziness
• headache
• malaise
• skin rash or itching

Precautions

• Treating an acute haemorrhoidal attack with this medicine does not replace specific treatment of other anal conditions
• see a doctor if symptoms do not quickly subside.
