Indication

Broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by amoxicillin-sensitive micro-organisms.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin 250 mg per sachet

Direction

Oral route. Dissolve the contents of a sachet in water and drink. The dose is set by the doctor according to age and body weight.

Side effects

• Diarrhoea
• nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal pain
• headache
• Skin rash or itching
• seek urgent medical help for swelling of the face or throat
• difficulty breathing
• severe or bloody diarrhoea

Precautions

• Antibiotic: use only as prescribed or advised by a doctor and complete the full course
• Do not use if you are allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins
• Tell the doctor if you have kidney disease or are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Keep out of reach of children.
