Skineal Cream 5 g 10 mg/g + 0.5 mg/g

Indication

Topical treatment of superficial fungal skin infections such as tinea manus (hand), tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea corporis (body), tinea cruris (groin) and tinea versicolor, relieving the associated inflammation and itching (antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antipruritic).

Ingredients

• Ketoconazole 10 mg/g
• Clobetasol propionate 0.5 mg/g

Direction

For external use only. After cleansing, apply a thin layer evenly to the affected area twice daily. Usual course: about 2 weeks for tinea corporis and tinea cruris, about 4 weeks for tinea of the hands and feet. Do not use longer than directed; refer to the package insert.

Side effects

• Local burning
• stinging
• itching or irritation at the application site may occur.
• Prolonged use may cause dry or thinning skin (atrophy)
• stretch marks
• visible small blood vessels or folliculitis
• allergic contact dermatitis is occasionally reported.
• Long
• term use over large areas may cause systemic corticosteroid effects. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to ketoconazole
• other azole antifungals
• corticosteroids or any ingredient of this cream.
• Contains the potent corticosteroid clobetasol propionate: do not use long
• term
• over large areas or under occlusive dressings.
• Use on the face
• armpits
• groin or other skin folds only under medical supervision
• avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
