Indication
Fast-acting relief of pain and fever: temporarily relieves minor aches and pains associated with the common cold, headache, toothache, muscular aches, backache, minor pain of arthritis and menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhoea); temporarily reduces fever.
Ingredients
- Solubilized ibuprofen equivalent to ibuprofen 400 mg (present as free acid and potassium salt)
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: take 1 capsule every 4–6 hours while symptoms occur, preferably with or after food. Do not exceed 3 capsules (1,200 mg) in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor.
Side effects
- Stomach upset
- heartburn
- nausea or abdominal pain
- Headache or dizziness
- Skin rash or other allergic reactions
- Rarely stomach bleeding (black stools
- vomiting blood) — stop and seek medical help
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effect is troublesome or persists
- and stop use if an allergic reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to ibuprofen
- aspirin or other NSAIDs
- or if you have an active stomach ulcer or bleeding.
- Consult a doctor before use if you have asthma
- kidney
- liver or heart disease
- high blood pressure
- or take anticoagulants.
- Do not use in the last trimester of pregnancy
- consult a doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
