Indication

Relief of nausea and vomiting. Management of bloating, regurgitation, and gastrointestinal motility disorders.

Ingredients

• Domperidone 5 mg per mL (oral drops)

Direction

Children under 12 years or body weight <35 kg: 0.25 mg/kg body weight (0.05 mL/kg) up to three times daily before meals. Maximum 0.75 mg/kg/day. Use the provided dropper for accurate dosing. Adults: Not the preferred formulation — use tablets.

Side effects

• Extrapyramidal reactions (more common in young children at high doses).
• QT prolongation (rare).
• Dry mouth.
• Galactorrhoea (rare).

Precautions

• Contraindicated with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors.
• Risk of QT prolongation in neonates and young infants — use with caution.
• Contraindicated in hepatic impairment.
• Do not exceed recommended weight
• based dose.
• Keep out of reach of children.
