Indication
Sildenafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction in adult men; sexual stimulation is required for it to work.
Ingredients
- Sildenafil citrate equivalent to sildenafil 100 mg per film
- coated tablet
Direction
As directed by the physician. Usually 1 tablet taken with water about 1 hour (between 30 minutes and 4 hours) before sexual activity. Do not take more than once a day.
Side effects
- Headache or facial flushing
- Indigestion
- nasal congestion or dizziness
- Visual disturbances (blurred vision
- colour tinge)
- Seek urgent medical help for chest pain

- or sudden loss of vision or hearing
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effect is troublesome or persists
- and stop use if an allergic reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Do not take with nitrates (e.g. nitroglycerin) or nitric oxide donors
- or riociguat — this can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
- Use only under medical supervision if you have heart disease
- very low or uncontrolled blood pressure
- recent stroke or heart attack
- severe liver or kidney problems
- or an inherited retinal disorder.
- Not for use by women or by anyone under 18 years.
