Indication
Prescription anti-inflammatory analgesic for the relief of pain, inflammation and swelling in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, back pain, sprains and soft-tissue injuries, post-operative or post-traumatic swelling, dental pain and ENT inflammation.
Ingredients
- Aceclofenac BP 100 mg
- Paracetamol BP 500 mg
- Serratiopeptidase 15 mg (30
- 000 units enzyme activity
- enteric
- coated granules)
Direction
Oral, as directed by the physician. Usual adult dose: 1 tablet twice a day after meals. Swallow whole with water; do not chew or crush.
Side effects
- Indigestion
- abdominal pain
- nausea or diarrhoea
- Heartburn or flatulence
- Dizziness or headache
- Raised liver enzymes
- Rarely
- stomach bleeding or ulcer (black stools
- vomiting blood) – stop and seek medical help
- Rarely
- allergic reactions such as rash
- itching
- swelling or breathing difficulty – stop and consult a doctor
Precautions
- Prescription medicine – use only as directed by a physician
- Do not use if allergic to aceclofenac
- diclofenac
- aspirin or other NSAIDs
- paracetamol or serratiopeptidase
- Do not use with active or past peptic ulcer or GI bleeding
- or severe heart
- liver or kidney failure
- Use with caution in asthma
- high blood pressure
- heart disease
- bleeding disorders or with anticoagulants
- Do not take with other paracetamol
- or NSAID
- containing products
- avoid alcohol
- Contains tartrazine colour
- which may cause allergic reactions in sensitive people
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding – consult a doctor or pharmacist
- Keep out of reach of children
