Indication
Prescription anti-inflammatory and analgesic combination for the relief of pain, inflammation and swelling in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, low back pain, musculoskeletal injuries and sprains, post-operative and dental pain, and soft-tissue inflammation; the paracetamol component also reduces fever.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol BP 500 mg
- Aceclofenac BP 100 mg
- Serratiopeptidase 15 mg (30
- 000 units
- as enteric
- coated granules)
Direction
Oral route, as directed by the physician. Usual adult dose: 1 tablet twice daily after meals, swallowed whole with water; do not crush or chew. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or duration.
Side effects
- Nausea
- indigestion
- heartburn or abdominal pain
- Diarrhoea or constipation
- Dizziness or headache
- Skin rash or itching
- Raised liver enzymes
- Rarely
- stomach ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding (black stools
- vomiting blood) or severe allergic reaction
- stop use and seek medical help
Precautions
- Prescription medicine
- use only under medical supervision
- Do not use if allergic to aceclofenac
- diclofenac
- paracetamol
- aspirin or other NSAIDs
- or with active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
- Do not take with other paracetamol
- containing products or other NSAIDs
- overdose of paracetamol may cause serious liver damage
- Use with caution in liver
- kidney or heart disease
- hypertension
- asthma or bleeding disorders
- and in the elderly
- avoid alcohol
- Use with caution with anticoagulants
- as serratiopeptidase and NSAIDs may increase bleeding risk
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
- avoid in late pregnancy
- Keep out of reach of children
