Pyrol Forte 250 mg/5 ml

Indication

Children's paracetamol suspension for the relief of fever and mild to moderate pain (e.g. headache, toothache, aches associated with colds and flu).

Ingredients

• Paracetamol USP 250 mg/5 ml

Direction

Oral use only, on medical advice. Shake well before use. 15 mg/kg per dose; maximum daily dose 60 mg/kg in divided doses over 24 hours. Not more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period; minimum dosing interval 4 hours. Do not use for prolonged periods without medical advice and do not exceed the stated dose.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to paracetamol or any ingredient
• Do not exceed the stated dose
• do not take with other paracetamol

• Use with caution in liver or kidney impairment
• chronic alcohol use or malnutrition
• Seek medical advice if fever lasts more than 3 days or pain more than 5 days
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
