Acetab 500 mg

Indication

Relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, muscle and joint pain, period pain, pain after vaccination) and reduction of fever, including fever and aches associated with colds and flu.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg per sachet

Direction

Oral. Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a suitable amount of water before taking. Usual dose 10-15 mg/kg per dose every 4-6 hours; adults and children over 12 years: 1-2 sachets per dose, not more than 4 g paracetamol (8 sachets) in 24 hours, at least 4 hours apart. Children: dose according to body weight as directed by a doctor. Read the leaflet insert.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to paracetamol or any ingredient
• Do not exceed the stated dose
• do not take with other paracetamol
• containing products
• Use with caution in liver or kidney impairment
• chronic alcohol use or malnutrition
• Seek medical advice if fever lasts more than 3 days or pain more than 5 days
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
• Keep out of reach of children
