Indication
Used for superficial fungal skin infections such as tinea manus (hand), tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea corporis (ringworm of the body) and tinea cruris (jock itch).
Ingredients
- Ketoconazole 10 mg/g
- Clobetasol propionate 0.25 mg/g
Direction
For external use only. After cleaning the affected skin, apply a thin layer of cream twice daily. Treatment course: about 2 weeks for tinea corporis and tinea cruris, 3 weeks for tinea manus and tinea pedis.
Side effects
- Local burning
- stinging
- itching or redness at the application site
- Skin thinning
- stretch marks
- telangiectasia or folliculitis with prolonged use (clobetasol is a potent steroid)
- Allergic contact dermatitis
- Systemic corticosteroid effects possible with extensive or long
- term use
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation or allergy occurs
Precautions
- For external use only
- avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes
- Do not use if allergic to ketoconazole
- clobetasol or any ingredient
- Do not use on viral skin infections
- acne
- rosacea or broken skin
- Do not apply to the face
- large areas or under occlusive dressings
- and do not exceed the recommended course
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women: consult a doctor before use
