KOTADOL COLD EXTRA 500mg + 15mg + 10mg + 5mg

Indication

A combination cold and flu remedy used to relieve symptoms including fever, pain, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and cough.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Pseudoephedrine HCl 15 mg
• Chlorpheniramine maleate 10 mg
• Dextromethorphan HBr 5 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 1–2 tablets every 6–8 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. Not recommended for children under 12 without medical advice.

Side effects

• Drowsiness

• Dry mouth
• nose
• or throat.
• Nausea
• stomach upset.
• Insomnia
• nervousness (due to pseudoephedrine).
• Increased blood pressure in sensitive individuals.

Precautions

• Do not take with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Do not use with MAO inhibitors or within 14 days of stopping MAO inhibitor therapy.
• Avoid alcohol and sedatives while taking this medicine.
• Use with caution in patients with hypertension
• heart disease
• diabetes
• thyroid disorders
• or glaucoma.
• May cause drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery.
• Not suitable for children under 12 years.
• Keep out of reach of children.
