Indication
A combination cold and flu remedy used to relieve symptoms including fever, pain, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and cough.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 500 mg
- Pseudoephedrine HCl 15 mg
- Chlorpheniramine maleate 10 mg
- Dextromethorphan HBr 5 mg
Direction
Adults and children 12 years and over: 1β2 tablets every 6β8 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. Not recommended for children under 12 without medical advice.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- dizziness.
- Dry mouth
- nose
- or throat.
- Nausea
- stomach upset.
- Insomnia
- nervousness (due to pseudoephedrine).
- Increased blood pressure in sensitive individuals.
Precautions
- Do not take with other paracetamol
- containing products.
- Do not use with MAO inhibitors or within 14 days of stopping MAO inhibitor therapy.
- Avoid alcohol and sedatives while taking this medicine.
- Use with caution in patients with hypertension
- heart disease
- diabetes
- thyroid disorders
- or glaucoma.
- May cause drowsiness β do not drive or operate machinery.
- Not suitable for children under 12 years.
- Keep out of reach of children.
