Size: 12 tablet
Indication
Used for the symptomatic relief of gastrointestinal discomfort including bloating, flatulence, heartburn, and acid indigestion. Acts as an antacid and antiflatulent.
Ingredients
- Polysilane (dimethylpolysiloxane + magnesium hydroxide + aluminium hydroxide) 2.25 g
Direction
Adults: 1 sachet (or 1 tablet) 3β4 times daily, after meals and at bedtime. Shake suspension well before use. Not recommended for children without medical advice.
Side effects
- Constipation (aluminium component) or diarrhoea (magnesium component).
- Rarely: nausea.
Precautions
- Do not take in patients with kidney failure without medical advice.
- Prolonged use of aluminium/magnesium antacids may interfere with phosphate absorption.
- May reduce absorption of other oral medications β separate by at least 2 hours.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks.
- Keep out of reach of children.
