Pimag Antacid Suspension 300 mg / 300 mg / 80 mg per 7 ml

Indication

Therapy of gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, heartburn and gastric hyperacidity; fast relief of gastric problems.

Ingredients

• Aluminium hydroxide dried gel 300 mg / 7 ml
• Magnesium hydroxide 300 mg / 7 ml
• Simethicone 80 mg / 7 ml

Direction

Shake before use. Adults: 1-2 sachets, 3-4 times a day. Children 6-12 years: 1 sachet, 3-4 times a day. Take immediately once symptoms occur and repeat 30-60 minutes before or after meals and at bedtime.

Side effects

• Constipation
• diarrhea
• nausea and vomiting may generally occur
• symptoms disappear after stopping the medicine. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use in patients who are severely debilitated or suffering from renal insufficiency
• or if there is severe abdominal pain
• possible bowel obstruction or hyperacidity.
• Do not use in patients with serious kidney failure
• which may cause hypermagnesemia.
• Not recommended for treatment longer than 2 weeks unless recommended by a physician
• as it may cause dependence of gastric function.
• Antacids may disturb the absorption of tetracycline
• cimetidine and other drugs
• allow a 1
• 2 hour gap between taking antacids and these drugs.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years old.
• Not suitable for patients on a low
• phosphorus diet or for long
• term use
• since antacids lower blood phosphorus levels.
