Fastum Gel (Malaysia) 2.5%

Indication

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory gel for local relief of pain and inflammation of muscles and joints, such as sprains, strains, bruises, tendinitis and back pain.

Ingredients

• Ketoprofen 2.5%

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day and massage gently until absorbed. Wash hands after use. Do not use for more than 7 days without medical advice.

Side effects

• Redness
• itching
• rash or irritation at the application site.
• Skin reactions on exposure to sunlight (photosensitivity)
• rarely
• allergic reactions.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to ketoprofen
• aspirin or other NSAIDs
• or if you have had asthma
• urticaria or allergic reactions to these medicines.
• Do not expose the treated area to sunlight or sunbeds during treatment and for 2 weeks afterwards
• because of the risk of photosensitivity reactions.
• Do not apply to open wounds
• damaged
• irritated or infected skin
• or near the eyes and mucous membranes.
• Do not use in the third trimester of pregnancy
• consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Do not cover with an airtight dressing unless advised by a doctor.
