Efferalganmed 500 mg

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever, such as headache, flu-like states, toothache and aches and pains.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg

Direction

Dissolve the tablet completely in a glass of water before drinking. Adults and children over 50 kg: 1 to 2 tablets per dose, at least 4 hours apart, without exceeding 3 g of paracetamol per day unless advised by a doctor. Children 13 to 50 kg: dose according to body weight (about 60 mg/kg/day in 4 to 6 doses); the tablet is scored to allow half doses.

Side effects

• Rare allergic reactions such as skin rash
• hives or swelling
• stop treatment and consult a doctor.
• Very rarely blood disorders or abnormal liver tests.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Overdose = danger: exceeding the dose can cause severe liver damage. Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol.
• Each tablet contains 412 mg of sodium
• take into account if on a low
• salt diet. Contains sorbitol: not for people with hereditary fructose intolerance.
• Consult a doctor if pain lasts more than 5 days or fever more than 3 days
• or if you have liver or kidney disease
• chronic alcoholism or malnutrition.

• breastfeeding or taking an oral anticoagulant.
