Indication
Regular, twice-daily maintenance treatment to prevent asthma symptoms such as breathlessness and wheezing. Combines salmeterol, a long-acting bronchodilator that keeps the airways open for at least 12 hours, with fluticasone propionate, a corticosteroid that reduces swelling and irritation in the lungs. Not for relief of a sudden asthma attack; use a fast-acting reliever inhaler (such as salbutamol) for that.
