LORAMARK 10mg

Indication

A non-sedating antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes, and for the treatment of chronic urticaria (hives).

Ingredients

• Loratadine 10 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet (10 mg) once daily. Children 6–12 years (over 30 kg): 1 tablet once daily. Children 6–12 years (30 kg or less): 5 mg once daily (half tablet or syrup). Take with or without food.

Side effects

• Headache
• drowsiness (rare at recommended doses).
• Dry mouth
• fatigue.
• Rarely: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with severe liver disease.
• Generally does not cause drowsiness at recommended doses
• but avoid driving if affected.
• Keep out of reach of children.
