Indication

Used for the relief of mild to moderate pain and reduction of fever in infants and young children who cannot take oral formulations.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 150 mg (effervescent tablet for rectal use or paediatric oral solution)

Direction

Infants and children: dosed by body weight (10–15 mg/kg) every 4–6 hours. Do not exceed 5 doses in 24 hours. Dissolve in water before use if effervescent. Follow physician or pharmacist guidance.

Side effects

• Rare: skin rash or allergic reactions.
• Overdose can cause severe liver damage.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Do not give with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Consult a doctor before use in children with liver or kidney problems.
• Keep out of reach of children.
