Clobate 0.5mg + 15g

Indication

A potent topical corticosteroid used for the treatment of severe inflammatory skin conditions that have not responded to less potent corticosteroids, including psoriasis, eczema, and lichen planus.

Ingredients

• Clobetasol propionate 0.05% cream
• 15 g tube

Direction

Adults: Apply a thin film to the affected area(s) once or twice daily. Do not use continuously for more than 4 weeks. Use the smallest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Side effects

• Skin atrophy
• burning
• itching
• striae.
• Hypopigmentation
• contact dermatitis.
• With prolonged use: HPA axis suppression
• Cushing's syndrome.

Precautions

• Do not use on the face
• groin
• or axillae unless directed by a dermatologist.
• Not for use in infected skin without appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
• Prolonged use causes skin atrophy
• striae
• and systemic corticosteroid effects.
• Do not use under occlusive dressings unless directed.
• Not for use in children under 12 without medical supervision.
• Keep out of reach of children.
