Indication
An antifungal cream used for the treatment of fungal skin infections including tinea (ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch), candidiasis (thrush), and pityriasis versicolor.
Ingredients
- Econazole nitrate 1% cream
- 10 g tube
Direction
Adults and children: Apply a thin layer to the cleaned, dried affected area and surrounding skin twice daily (morning and evening). Continue for at least 2 weeks after symptoms disappear to prevent recurrence.
Side effects
- Local burning
- itching
- or irritation at application site.
- Rarely: contact dermatitis.
Precautions
- For external use only.
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- If no improvement after 4 weeks

- Keep out of reach of children.
