Indication

A paediatric vitamin and calcium supplement used for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin deficiencies in children. Supports bone development and growth.

Ingredients

Calcium gluconate
Vitamins (including Vitamin D and B vitamins) per 5 ml dose

Direction

Children: As directed by a physician or pharmacist, typically 5 ml once or twice daily with meals.

Side effects

Generally well tolerated.
Excess calcium: constipation
nausea.
Hypervitaminosis D with excessive long
term use.

Precautions

Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Monitor calcium levels during prolonged treatment.
Keep out of reach of children.
