Vitascorbol 1000mg

Indication

Used for the prevention and treatment of Vitamin C deficiency (scurvy), and as a dietary supplement to support immune function and antioxidant protection.

Ingredients

• Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) 1000 mg

Direction

Adults: 1 effervescent tablet dissolved in a full glass of water once daily. Take after a meal.

Side effects

• At high doses: diarrhoea
• stomach cramps
• nausea.
• Rarely: kidney stone formation with prolonged high
• dose use.

Precautions

• Doses over 1 g/day may cause gastrointestinal disturbances.
• Use with caution in patients with a history of kidney stones.
• Use with caution in G6PD deficiency.
• Keep out of reach of children.
