Bisolvon 8mg

Indication

A mucolytic agent used to treat productive cough by reducing the viscosity of mucus secretions, facilitating their clearance from the airways. Used in bronchitis, asthma, and other respiratory conditions with excessive mucus.

Ingredients

• Bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 14 years: 8 mg (1 tablet) 3 times daily. Children 6–14 years: 4 mg (half tablet) 3 times daily. Children under 6 years: consult a doctor.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea.
• Dizziness
• headache.
• Rarely: skin rash
• increased bronchial secretions.

Precautions

• May rarely trigger bronchospasm in asthmatic patients.
• Use with caution in patients with active peptic ulcer.
• Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children.
