Indication
Used as a calcium and vitamin supplement for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin deficiencies. Supports bone health and general wellbeing.
Ingredients
- Calcium gluconate
- Vitamins (Vitamin D and other vitamins)
Direction
Adults: As directed by a physician or pharmacist. Typically 1β2 ampoules or the equivalent oral dose daily with meals.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated at recommended doses.
- Excess calcium: constipation
- nausea.
- Hypercalcaemia with overdose.
Precautions
- Do not exceed recommended doses.
- Use with caution in patients with kidney stones or renal impairment.
- Monitor calcium levels during prolonged use.
- Keep out of reach of children.
