Acemuc 200 mg

Indication

Mucolytic for cough with thick mucus: breaks down phlegm and dissolves mucus in acute and chronic bronchopulmonary conditions such as bronchitis.

Ingredients

• Acetylcysteine 200 mg per 1 g sachet

Direction

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass of water and drink. Adults and children over 7 years: 1 sachet (200 mg) 3 times daily. Children 2–7 years: 1 sachet 2 times daily. Read the package insert before use.

• diarrhoea
• stomach discomfort
• Allergic reactions such as rash
• itching or urticaria
• rarely bronchospasm

Precautions

• Do not use if hypersensitive to acetylcysteine
• not recommended for children under 2 years.
• Use with caution in asthma or a history of peptic ulcer.
• Do not combine with cough suppressants (antitussives).
• Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
