Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms: urogenital (urinary tract) infections, bronchopulmonary infections, middle ear infections and digestive tract infections.

Ingredients

• Trimethoprim 160 mg
• Sulfamethoxazole 800 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: usually 1 tablet twice daily with water, after meals. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Use as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting or loss of appetite
• Skin rash or itching
• stop immediately if a severe skin reaction or blistering occurs

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to sulfonamides or trimethoprim
• Do not exceed the prescribed dose
• Not recommended in pregnancy
