Hif-AS Fluconazole 150 mg + Azithromycin 1 g + Secnidazole 1 g x 2 (combikit)

Indication

Syndromic treatment of vaginal discharge and mixed genital infections such as bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, vaginal candidiasis and chlamydial or gonococcal infection.

Ingredients

• Fluconazole 150 mg (1 tablet)
• Azithromycin 1 g (1 tablet)
• Secnidazole 1 g (2 tablets)

Direction

As directed by a physician. Usually all 4 tablets of the kit (1 fluconazole, 1 azithromycin and 2 secnidazole) are taken as a single-day treatment after a meal. Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 48 hours afterwards.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea or abdominal pain
• Metallic taste
• headache or dizziness
• Vaginal itching
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to any of the three components
• Do not drink alcohol during and for 48 hours after treatment
• Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor
• Use with caution in liver or kidney disease or heart rhythm problems
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
