Konimag 300 mg/300 mg/25 mg per 7 ml sachet

Indication

Relief of symptoms of excess stomach acid, heartburn, gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcer accompanied by nausea, bloating (flatulence) or a feeling of fullness in the stomach.

Ingredients

• Magnesium trisilicate 300 mg
• Dried aluminium hydroxide gel 300 mg (eq. to aluminium hydroxide 229.5 mg)
• Simethicone (activated dimethicone) 25 mg

Direction

Oral use. Shake/knead the sachet before opening. Adults: 1-2 sachets 3-4 times daily. Children: ½-1 sachet 3-4 times daily. Take 1-3 hours after meals and at bedtime.

Side effects

• Constipation or diarrhoea

• term high doses may cause low phosphate levels
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Use with caution in kidney impairment

• Separate from other medicines (e.g. tetracyclines

• quinolones) by 2 hours as antacids reduce their absorption
