Polysilane UPSA 2.25 g (15 g sachet)

Indication

Adjunctive treatment of stomach pain, burning and heartburn, and of intestinal bloating.

Ingredients

• Dimeticone 2.25 g per 15 g sachet

Direction

Adults: one sachet before each of the three main meals and, if needed, when pain occurs; do not exceed 6 sachets per day. Take orally as is, without water. Consult a doctor if there is no improvement after 5 days.

Side effects

• Digestive disorders and diarrhoea (due to sorbitol)
• Allergic reactions (azorubine E122
• cochineal red A 4R
• propyl parahydroxybenzoate E216)
• Contact eczema
• Exceptionally: immediate reactions with urticaria and bronchospasm
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to dimeticone or any of the excipients.
• Contains sucrose (3.5 g per sachet
• take into account in diabetes) and sorbitol (1.8 g per sachet
• not for hereditary fructose intolerance
• may have a mild laxative effect).
• Contains azo dyes E122 and 4R and E216
• which may cause allergic reactions.
• Pregnancy: use only on medical advice.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 5 days.
